Timber Creek High School alumna Mady Lohman wrapped up her freshman season at Oklahoma State by playing in the Women’s College World Series.

Lohman, an infielder from Keller, struck out in one at-bat against Oklahoma in the Cowgirls’ 6-1 loss on May 31 in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma State was eliminated from the tourney by losing to Washington 1-0 on June 1 and ended up with a 45-17 record overall.

For the season at Oklahoma State, Lohman batted .158 with a .333 on-base percentage and a .368 slugging percentage in 19 at-bats. She hit one home run and scored seven runs.

Lohman was a four-year softball letter winner at Timber Creek and set school career records for runs, walks, triples, on-base percentage and stolen bases. She earned numerous All-American honors, twice received All-State from the Texas Girls Coaches Association, and was a four-time All-District selection and also earned District co-MVP honors.
