KATY—First Christian Church’s Transparent Closet is working with a Katy Independent School District club to provide harmful chest binders to gender-confused children.
This organization is working with @katyisd to help young girls who think they’re boys get chest binders.
Chest binding can cause issues including fluid buildup in the lungs and broken ribs.
Why would a school encourage kids to embrace a pseudo identity and pretend to be… pic.twitter.com/tglsK4t1Pa

First Christian Church (FCC) in Katy, Texas, has been openly “accepting and affirming” LGBT ideologies since 2006.
Late last year, independent journalist Tayler Hansen went undercover to the church’s “Transparent Closet,” to reveal the disturbing nature of the secret cross-dressing boutique.
A look inside of First Christian Churches “Transparency Closet” in Katy, TX.
The closet is setup in a way that is designed to keep parents uninformed.
Chest Binders, Underwear, and Bras can be found.

Video footage from Hansen showed chest binders, fake genitalia, and a selection of clothes and undergarments of the opposite sex for children to choose from.
The boutique is completely free and uses bags from other stores to hide the cross-dressing materials from children’s parents.
FCC Katy has also hosted several “family-oriented” drag events. One such event, a drag bingo, exposed young children to men dressed as women in provocative outfits, prancing around the church.
A Katy ISD club—Cinco Ranch Gender-Sexuality Alliance—is now apparently working with FCC Katy’s “Transparent Closet” to provide students with chest binders, which have been proven to have long-lasting, negative effects on females’ bodies.
According to Medical News Today, chest binding can cause severe chest pain, scarring, overheating, shortness of breath, a buildup of fluid in the lungs, reduced exercise tolerance, difficulty speaking, damaged or broken ribs, back pain, and skin issues—such as rashes and cuts.
A study published in 2016 on the health impacts of chest binding—where binding was a “daily occurrence” for participants, most of whom bound their chests every day for an average of 10 hours—revealed that “over 97 percent of respondents said they had experienced at least one of 28 negative outcomes attributed to binding.”
“Binding improperly or for too long can lead to chest and back pain,” Pride in Practice’s website says. “It is safest and most common to bind using a dedicated binder, an article of clothing designed specifically for this purpose.”
However, according to the aforementioned study, “Commercial binders were most commonly associated with negative health impacts. Respondents who wore commercial binders reported experiencing 20 out of the study’s 28 listed health impacts.”
Libs of TikTok called out the school district on X, questioning why a school would “encourage kids to embrace a pseudo identity and pretend to be something they’re not with a harmful chest binder?”
Hansen agreed and went further, blasting FCC Katy once again. “These people shouldn’t be anywhere near kids,” he posted on X. “Genuinely demented people run this organization.”
Gays Against Groomers also responded to Libs of TikTok’s social media post, calling the school district and FCC Katy “evil” for providing chest binders to minors.
A Katy ISD spokesperson told Texas Scorecard, “The district is not affiliated with the First Christian Church’s Transparent Closet. Any information being shared on media platforms that are contradictory, are false.”
This article has been updated since publication to include the district’s statement.
