I believe our nation is in peril. Will Texans settle for this new normal of censorship, or will we fight for liberty?

The Democrats’ impeachment today of President Donald Trump set a precedent more dangerous than the summer of left-wing riots and even last week’s storming of the Capitol.

No committee hearings. No investigations. No due process.

If you watched, it was all just inflamed and hateful rhetoric from the Democrats against President Trump and every conservative. The Democrats in Congress are proving they want “unity” the same way Islamic jihadists want “peace”: through absolute submission and domination.

What will Texans do?

The Democrats in Congress and their cronies in Big Tech are implementing a scorched-earth policy against fully half of the American people.

Our Republic is in peril. I will resist.

I know for certain that statement will come with a cost. Will you stand with me?

Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Democrat-run Senate, and the Biden-Harris administration won’t stop with this second impeachment of Donald Trump.

Yes, they named him – but make no mistake: they are coming after each of us.

The Biden-Harris administration already has Facebook and Twitter doing their bidding in silencing dissent. Any individual, group, or organization that speaks out against them is going to be targeted.

We must either stand together… or be willing to watch Liberty die.

I have no doubt the IRS will be targeting us… and no telling which of the other alphabet-soup agencies will be employed to squelch free speech and criticism of the Democrats.

Yes, by “us” I mean Texas Scorecard. Why? Because we believe the citizens – not the politicians – must be in charge. We believe in self-governance, not government control. Because we believe the words of the First and Second Amendments mean what they say.

Yes, by “us” I mean every conservative and liberty-loving group and individual in this nation. Yes, by “us” I mean you and me and our families.

The Democrats mean to steal the Republic. Will we sit idly by, or will we stand and fight? As for me and my house, we will fight!

Can I count on you to stand with us in this fight? Will you pray for us, and let us be praying for you? Will you make a contribution now so we have the resources needed to confront this threat?

Our Republic is in peril. It is up to each of us to stand and be counted.
