Denton — During PriDenton’s “Night Out at the Square” LGBT pride event, a licensed therapist and sex educator was recorded admitting she teaches progressive, comprehensive sex education to four-year-olds.

The therapist was working at Denton County Public Health’s booth.

In an undercover recording from Current Revolt, the unnamed videographer strikes up a conversation with the therapist. She tells the videographer she is somewhat of a “freelancer,” saying she teaches independently at a couple “progressive” private schools in Denton.

When the videographer asks the age range she teaches, the therapist explains without hesitation that she teaches comprehensive, progressive sex education at Koan School to children from four-years-old to high school.

The videographer is given a sex package for a thirteen-year-old from the therapist with condoms, instruction on how to use a condom, and a free STI/HIV testing kit. He asks the therapist if he is allowed to have more condoms for his young nephews, who he says are “about getting that age now, they’re about 13, 14 now.”

He is told to take as many condoms of various varieties as he would like so “that way, they can kinda explore and figure out what they like.”

PriDenton will continue to host several more LGBT events throughout the month of June.
