Slowly by surely, sophomore Ta’Quon Graham is starting to pay dividends for the Texas Longhorns football program.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound defensive linemen and Temple graduate recently recorded a pair of solo tackles in a hard-fought 23-17 Big 12 win over Baylor. A few weeks earlier, he did the same in a 28-21 win over Tulsa.

Over his career, Graham, an All-American and three-time All-District performer at Temple, has played in 19 games for the Longhorns, including one start.

Texas (6-1, 4-0 in Big 12) has now won six in a row and is ranked No. 6 in the College Football Rankings.

At Temple, Graham was coached by Scott Steward and finished his career earning the first team 5A All-State title by the Texas Sports Writers Association and was also a first-team All-District 18-5A selection.
