Davis Brin’s Tulsa Hurricane football future still appears bright.
Though the 6-foot-2, 195-pound freshman quarterback didn’t take the field for a single play for Tulsa during the 2018 season, coaches remain well aware of what the Boerne Champion High grad is capable of.
A three-year letter-winner, Brin threw for nearly 7,000 yards and 58 touchdowns while starring for coach Keith Kaiser at Boerne, including 2,548 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior on his way to being named District 26-5A Offensive MVP.
With Tulsa coming off a 3-9 season, Brin figures to have every chance to have more of a role for the Golden Hurricanes next season. He turned heads in this year’s spring game by completing 5-of-11 passes for 58 yards, according to the school’s website.
As a junior at Boerne, Brin passed for 3,535 yards and 30 touchdowns, earning him first-team all-district honors along with being named San Antonio Quarterback Club Player of the Year.
