Wide receiver Caleb Chapman of the Texas A&M Aggies turned down offers from 18 other schools as a recruit from Clear Brook High School in his hometown of Friendswood, Texas, before committing to the Aggies in July 2017.

Now, in his first year with the Aggies, the 6-foot-5-inch, 210-pound Chapman is set to make good on the recruiting efforts of Clarence McKinney and Aaron Moorehead.

Chapman’s high school record justified interest by so many schools. As a senior at Clear Brook, he was a first-team all-district selection in 2017, and had taken the same honors as a junior. His sophomore year saw him earn a spot as a second-team all-district selection.
