Jordan Davis is hoping to have more of an impact for the Louisville football team going forward after finally settling in since transferring from Texas A&M.

Appearing in four games, Davis, a 6-foot-4, 254-pound junior tight end, caught two passes for 23 yards for the Cardinals this season. Over his first two seasons on campus, he now has six catches for 111 yards and a touchdown, according to the school’s website.

At Clear Lake High, Davis starred as both a tight end and a receiver, finishing his career with over 100 catches total.

As a senior, he snared 34 passes for 535 yards and two touchdowns on the way to being named second-team all-district and a four-star recruit by ESPN. His junior season was just as productive, with him finishing with 39 catches for 558 yards and five touchdowns.

During his freshman season at Texas A&M, Davis appeared in 11 games, collecting two catches that included a 3-yard touchdown grab.
