As a graduate student at the University of Illinois pursuing a master’s degree in business administration, Frisco Wakeland High alum Justice Williams continues his football career with the Illini.

The 6-foot-3-inch, 225-pound Williams plays wide receiver after several years of shoring up the Illinois linebacker corps. Through the first five games of 2019, he has caught five passes for 35 yards, with his first and lone collegiate-level touchdown coming against Akron in the season opener.

Illinois recruited Williams, who has a bachelor’s degree in business management, out of Wakeland approximately four years ago as a linebacker. He amassed 16 tackles in 40 games, including a standout game against Iowa in 2016.

At Wakeland, Williams lettered three years for both the Wolverines football and basketball programs and was a record-setting member of the track team.
