A Keller native and Oklahoma baseball player is getting in some work on the diamond in California this summer.

Brady Lindsly, a Keller High School alumnus and catcher for the Sooners, is playing for the San Luis Obispo Blues in the California Collegiate League. Through June 30, Lindsly had batted .200 in 35 plate appearances with one home run and four runs scored, a .314 on-base percentage and .333 slugging percentage. 

Last season for Oklahoma, Lindsly — a regular starter for the Sooners — had a .279 batting average with five home runs, 26 runs and 33 RBIs in 172 at-bats over 49 games. He also had a .471 slugging percentage and .357 on-base percentage. In three seasons with Oklahoma, he has a .270 batting average and seven homers in 403 at-bats.

While at Keller High School, Lindsly was a Perfect Game All-Region Second Team selection as part of his three years on the varsity team.
