Jack Giblin likes his chances at North Texas University.

After beginning his college career at UT San Antonio with a redshirt season and another year where he failed to see any action, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound tight end is now a member of the Mean Green program and the sky seems the limit.

Giblin’s resume has long proven him capable enough. According to the North Texas website, at Port Neches High as a senior he earned first-team, all-area honors and was also named All-District 22-5A while being selected to the academic all-state team.

In helping his team to nine wins, he amassed 840 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns that year after hauling 17 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns as a junior.

Opening the season with a four-game winning streak, North Texas now sits at 7-3 this season overall and 3-3 in the Conference USA West Division. Mean Green wraps at the regular-season hosting Florida Atlantic and traveling to UT San Antonio on Nov. 24.
