Outfielder Donelle Johnson has had three strong seasons with the Abilene Christian University softball team.

Her honors with the Wildcats include being named a Third Team All-Southland Conference Outfielder, twice named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll, and starting 12, 13 and 49 games in her freshman, sophomore, and redshirt sophomore seasons, respectively.

Her 2018 record — the most recently available set of stats — show a .306 batting average and .419 on-base percentage, as well as 31 runs, 44 hits and 16 walks, as her college bio states.

Johnson plans to pursue a graphic design and advertising career after graduation. Athleticism runs in her family, via her mother and grandfather. Karol, her mother, was a track-and-field team member for the Texas A&M Aggies and professional soccer and international softball were the sports of choice for her grandfather, Bazil Johnson.
