Michael Curtis is a redshirt junior quarterback for the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

According to the school’s website, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound economics major from Richardson appeared in one game as a reserve quarterback during his sophomore year.

Curtis started his college journey at Trinity Valley Community College as a redshirt freshman, where he threw for 2,311 yards and 24 touchdowns. He helped his team achieve the 2016 Southwest Junior College Football Conference Championship through his 316 passing yards, three touchdowns and 78 rushing yards. Curtis also helped his team win the Heart of Texas Bowl through 129 passing yards and one touchdown thrown alongside 58 rushing yards over 10 carries. Curtis was named the 2016 Heart of Texas Bowl Offensive MVP.

Prior to college, Curtis was a four-year letterwinner at Prime Prep Academy. He was a team captain and team MVP during his senior year.
