Jarret Doege’s first two seasons with the Bowling Green football program have been something to remember.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound strong-armed quarterback has thrown for more than 4,000 yards and 39 touchdowns over that period, including a Mid American Conference-leading 2,660 yards as a sophomore, according to ESPN.

Doege’s second year exploits came on the heels of him passing for at least 250 yards in four of the five games he started as a freshman, including a season-ending four game stretch where he amassed 11 scoring tosses against just two interceptions.

In the Falcons 12 games in 2018, Doege had multiple touchdown passes in nine different games.

While at Cooper High, Doege passed for 3,363 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior to earn first-team all-district honors.

Pedigree is on Doege’s side, as his older, Seth, was a star quarterback at Texas Tech and is currently receivers coach at Bowling Green.
