Two Mountain View Lions baseball players signed letter of intents to attend Texas A&M-Texarkana to continue their collegiate career.

Right-handed pitcher and shortstop Jared Kirk and pitcher Remington Ramsey helped the Lions finish with an (11-39) overall record, while finishing the season with seven total shutouts as a team.

Ramsey pitched 17 innings, registering 13 strikeouts, while relinquishing 14 earned runs for the season.

Kirk led the Lions offensively with 111 plate appearances, for 31 hits, while belting four home runs on the season.

The Lions had numerous players to be recognized and reach success this season as Micah Lloyd of Carrolton, Texas was selected to the NJCAA All-Region V DAC Division lll First-Team. Loyd finished the season with 28 runs batted in, five home runs, and 11 stolen bases.

After finishing (7-23) in conference play the Lions also gave up a season high 23 runs to Hill College this season, while recording a season high in runs scored with 19 against Eastfield College.
