Amidst plans from the City of San Antonio and the General Land Office to renovate and “re-imagine” the Alamo, State Rep. Kyle Biedermann (R–Fredericksburg) sent a letter to Gov. Greg Abbott on Wednesday urging him to halt the movement of the Alamo Cenotaph, a monument commissioned on the centennial anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo that serves as a tombstone for the men who gave their lives in the fight for Texas independence at the storied site.
Biedermann to Abbott: Don’t Move the Alamo Cenotaph
“I again appeal to you to protect and defend the sanctity of this monument.”
