As protests against immigration enforcement erupt across Texas, anti-enforcement protestors threatened to run over conservative news personality Sara Gonzales.
The threats occurred during a protest in Dallas on Sunday. According to Kera News, about 2,000 pro-illegal immigration advocates showed up to the Dallas City Hall Plaza.
Gonzales, who reported live on the scene at the event, was surrounded and threatened by protestors.
“Someone just run her over,” said one of the individuals in the crowd. When pressed about how they feel about children being raped by coyotes (smugglers) and cartels, the crowd had no answers.
“If you’re here illegally, enjoy your stay, you’re getting deported soon,” said Gonzales. Multiple other protestors confronted Gonzales, saying that they do not care about catching assault charges. Others told her to “walk into traffic.”
Gonzales told Texas Scorecard, “The entitlement of these illegal aliens and anti-ICE protesters knows no bounds. I was physically harassed by multiple attendees, some of whom BRAGGED about being in this country illegally, while Dallas PD did nothing.”
The protesters repeated chants claiming that they ‘built this country,’ and that they ‘weren’t going back.’ They threatened me with violence, and encouraged me to kill myself all because I believe in President Trump’s America First agenda to remove criminals and have a safe, orderly, and secure border.
Gonzales also noted the proliferation of Mexican flags at the protest. “If these people are so proud of Mexico, they should go back. Dallas must cooperate with federal law enforcement to send them home.”
This comes as pro-illegal alien rallies are continuing to disrupt cities across Texas.
On Saturday, Texas Scorecard reported live on the scene of another protest in Pflugerville, a suburb north of Austin. A law enforcement official said that the protesters were delaying road construction.
The protest was organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which is responsible for pro-illegal immigration protests across the country. For example, one demonstration in Los Angeles, California, saw tens of thousands of people blocking a major highway.
“The crowd then took over the 101 highways, one of the busiest highways in LA to make our demands heard! Immigrants are welcome here!” the organization posted on Instagram.
