Conservative organizations across the state have released recommendations for candidates running in the March Republican primary for statewide office.
The endorsements considered include: True Texas Project (TTP), Texas Gun Rights (TGR), Texas Family Project (TFP), Grassroots America: We The People (GAWTP), Texas Right to Life (TRL), and Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom (TURF).
Early voting has begun and ends on Friday, February 27. Election day is Tuesday March 3.
U.S. Senate:
Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt are both challenging incumbent Sen. John Cornyn for the seat.

Governor:
Incumbent Greg Abbott is facing a handful of challengers. True Texas Project recommends “anyone but Abbott” and specifically highlights Pete “Doc” Chambers and Mark Goloby.

Lt. Governor:
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is being challenged by Esala Wueschner, Timothy Mabry, and Perla Munoz Hopkins.

Attorney General:
The open race for attorney general includes four candidates: State Sen. Joan Huffman, State Sen. Mayes Middleton, Former DOJ official Aaron Reitz, and U.S. Rep. Chip Roy.

Comptroller:
Michael Berlanga, Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick, acting Comptroller Kelly Hancock, and former State Sen. Don Huffines are all running for the open seat.

Agriculture Commissioner:
Incumbent Sid Miller is being challenged by businessman Nate Sheets.

Railroad Commissioner:
Incumbent Railroad Commissioner Jim Wright is being challenged by Katherine Culbert, Hawk Dunlap, Bo French, and James (Jim) Matlock.

Court of Criminal Appeals Place 3:
The open seat is being sought by Brent Coffee, , Lesli Fitzpatrick, Alison Fox, and Thomas Smith.

Court of Criminal Appeals Place 9:
Jennifer Balido and John Messinger are running for the open seat.
