Editor’s note: During the 85th Legislative Session, Empower Texans and Texas Right to Life surveyed the citizens of Texas to determine who they believe are the “best” and “worst” legislators of 2017. The top 10 finalists for each category can be found below.
While the “Best” are listed in alphabetical order, the “Worst” are ranked by the votes we received from Texans. The final results were first announced during the “Jim & Michael Show Sine Die Special.” The titles accompanying each legislator are a result of collaboration between Texas Scorecard’s Capitol Bureau and editorial team as well as Texas Right to Life.
