Zack Gregory, who starred on the baseball diamond for Timber Creek, has gone from the Southeastern Conference to the Northwoods League this summer.

After completing his redshirt freshman season with the Arkansas Razorbacks, who finished second in the SEC West and made it to the College World Series, Gregory took his game to the Bismarck (N.D.) Larks of the NWL, a summer league for college players.

As of June 26, Gregory was batting a team-best .355 in 93 at-bats for the Larks. He also leads Bismarck with a .545 on-base percentage and .484 slugging percentage. Gregory’s 29 walks led the NWL, and his on-base percentage also topped the league at that point.

Gregory, an infielder for the Larks, also had 17 RBIs and 24 runs to go with seven doubles and nine stolen bases. He also has been hit by a pitch 11 times.

At Timber Creek, Gregory earned honorable mention Class 6A All-State honors as a senior in 2018.
