Biography

Dr. Donna Campbell began her medical career as a nurse, having earned a Bachelor in Science at Central State University and a Master’s Degree from Texas Women’s University specializing as a Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist.  She received her medical degree from Texas Tech Health Science Center.  At the time of her election to the Texas Senate, she was the Medical Director at Columbus Community Hospital Emergency Department.  She has been an active medical volunteer with Christian Eye Ministries, having performed hundreds of eye surgeries in the West African nation of Ghana.  She currently resides in New Braunfels with her husband, Stan.
