Redshirt sophomore quarterback Hank Hughes is finally settling in at Ball State University since transferring from Texas A&M University.

According to the Ball State University’s website, the 6-foot-2, 207-pound general studies major from Richardson joined the Cardinals in January 2018 after two years at Texas A&M.

Prior to college, Hughes graduated from J.J. Pearce High School, where he achieved a total of 1,500 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. He earned three letters from his head coach and was a three-time First Team Academic All-District honoree.

Hughes has four siblings, with one of his brother’s playing football at SMU and another brother playing baseball at Air Force.
