Hayden Doggett, a redshirted sophomore running back, joined the North Texas Mean Green after playing baseball in junior college, according to Meangreensports.com.

A 2014 graduate of Hutto High School in Hutto, Texas, Doggett played football, earning a No. 470 rank in Texas, as MaxPreps.com reported. The 6-2, 205 pound athlete played the positions of wide receiver, tight end and defensive end. Doggett also played baseball as a high school student.

Though he hasn’t played in any games this year for the Mean Green, his junior- and senior-year high school stats show he had 41 total receiving yards, 6.8 average receiving yards and six catches.
