Magnolia High School may have lost a three-time All-District softball performer when Taylar Fuselier graduated in 2016, but Sam Houston State University gained a strong infielder.

Her strong high-school achievements included senior year MVP as best hitter and selection to the Greater Houston Area All-Star and All-District Academic teams.

Between high school and Sam Houston, Fuselier attended Southeastern Louisiana, where she started seven times in 23 games during the 2016 season for the Lady Lions. With two RBIs, three runs and four hits, Fuselier was primed to transfer to Sam Houston.

Redshirted in accordance with NCAA rules, she first played during the 2018 season as a junior. Her stats include 31 starts, a batting average of .244, and scored two double plays and three RBIs, according to her college bio.
