A native of Grapevine, Texas, Tanner Gibson has helped the Concordia Tornados baseball team earn accolades on the field.
According to Concordia’s sports information website, “solid all-around pitching performances and timely hitting” underpinned the Tornados’ dual victories against Belhaven University in mid-April. Gibson serves as a pitcher and catcher.
Over the 2019 season, Gibson scored three hits, one double play and two RBIs, plus three assists and 13 putouts. The 6-foot, 205-pound junior attended Weatherford Independent High School and is majoring in business management at Concordia.
