Soros Continues To Pump Money Into Efforts To Turn Texas Blue

George Soros funds the Texas Majority PAC, which is supporting a left-wing slate for the 2026 election cycle.

Left-wing billionaire George Soros is continuing to fund Democrat campaigns across the nation.

According to Transparency USA, Soros has already funneled over $1 million into the Texas Majority PAC. The federal American Bridge PAC, long aligned with Soros, has contributed $7.57 million to the Texas Majority PAC.

The Soros family has poured a staggering $103 million nationwide into the 2026 election cycle so far.

The Texas Majority PAC exists to turn Texas into a blue state by electing Democrats to statewide offices.

“We’re combining deep experience, local leadership, and significant statewide investment to meet this moment. With Trump back in the White House and Ken Paxton dragging down the GOP ticket, we have a massive opportunity to win in 2026. Our efforts this cycle are aimed at winning in the short term and making Texas a true battleground state in the long term,” said Texas Majority PAC Director Katherine Fischer.

The Texas Majority PAC is also seeking to expand and maintain its influence in the state by “aggressively” recruiting candidates in every district to ensure that every Republican has a challenger.

Furthermore, Texas Democrats have stated that “this project is built to last beyond 2026, supporting campaigns, training local staff, and strengthening the Democratic Party and progressive politics across Texas.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton previously launched an investigation into George Soros and the Texas Majority PAC for its role in potentially unlawful financial coordination and bribery of Democrat legislators who fled Texas to break quorum.

“If Texas lawmakers are bowing to the Soros Slush Fund rather than the will of the voters, Texans deserve to know. Getting financial payouts under the table to abandon your legislative duties is bribery,” Paxton stated at the time. “Texas Majority PAC’s actions seem to indicate that it may be using its Soros-funded resources to break the law and fund the illegal abandonment of public office. If that’s the case, as determined by this investigation, there will be a heavy price to pay.”

Texas Gun Rights is warning that Texas Majority PAC-backed candidates, including James Talarico, Gina Hinojosa, Vikki Goodwin, Nathan Johnson, Sarah Eckhardt, Jon Rosenthal, and Clayton Tucker, support radical anti-gun policies such as red flag laws, raising the age to purchase guns, gun-registration schemes, and the outright banning and seizure of common semi-automatic firearms.

“Soros and his allies are not investing millions in Texas because they think this is a lost cause. They are doing it because they believe Texas can be flipped,” warned Texas Gun Rights President Chris McNutt.
